Direct Acquisition Process

How It Works

Exploring a direct sale is straightforward, confidential, and carries no obligation. Here is exactly what to expect from first contact through closing.

A Better Way to Exit

Selling a business through a broker can take 12–24 months, require public listings, and still fall apart at the finish line. We offer a different path — a direct, private conversation with a buyer who has the capital and intent to close.

Submitting your information does not obligate you to sell. It simply opens a confidential dialogue so both sides can determine whether there is a fit.

The Process

Five Steps to a Closed Deal

01

Submit Basic Information

Complete a short, confidential form with the basics — industry, annual revenue, years in operation, and your reason for considering a sale. No financials required at this stage.

This takes less than five minutes. Your information is never shared with third parties, competitors, or brokers.
02

Confidential Initial Conversation

A member of our acquisition team will reach out within one business day to schedule a brief, no-pressure call. We listen first — this is your opportunity to ask questions and understand how we operate.

We sign a mutual NDA before any detailed discussion. Your employees, customers, and competitors will not know you are exploring a sale.
03

Provide Financial & Operational Details

If your business fits our acquisition criteria, we will request additional information — typically two to three years of financials, a summary of operations, and key customer or contract details.

We work with businesses across all types of financial situations — growing, stable, or facing challenges. Every opportunity is evaluated on its own merits.
04

Evaluate an Offer & Transaction Structure

Based on the information provided, we will present a potential offer and proposed transaction structure. This may include an all-cash purchase, seller financing component, or earnout arrangement depending on the business.

There is no obligation to accept. You are free to take time, consult advisors, and ask as many questions as you need.
05

Due Diligence & Closing

If both parties agree to move forward, we conduct a focused due diligence process — typically 30 to 60 days. We work efficiently and transparently to reach a clean close.

Our goal is a smooth transition that protects your legacy, your employees, and your reputation in the market.

No Obligation. Ever.

Submitting your information, having a conversation, or even receiving an offer does not commit you to anything. You remain in full control at every stage. Many owners explore the process simply to understand what their business is worth — and that is perfectly fine with us.
